La Regia Specula


General: This wine is the product of a selection of different clones of Montepulciano already present in some old vineyards, located on the grounds of the hill Directed Specula, with excellent southern exposure. The douch is clayey - calcareous aluvial origin. The goal was to create a wine with the properties and characteristics originatng in this atavistic vine. Every effort is made during the vinification and the aging of 18 month has allowed us to obtain a product of high quality which can further gain in smoothness and softness if allowed to stand for a few years in a dark place at a controlled temperature.

Harvest: Manual harvest, after fermentation in the barrel mature Average (20HL) and partly in stainless steel for 8/12 months and 6 months in bottle.
Alcohol: 13.5% vol.
Appearance: Red garnet.
Bouquet: Fragrant and eclectic.
Taste: Well structured and persistent, slightly tannic.
Serving Temperature: 18deg C.
Bottle: 750ml Bordeaux
Serving Suggestions: Meat, roast poultry, game and cheeses of medium and long aging.
